Remote DesignSBD offers design services to clients outside the East Idaho area. Like all new clients, Remote Design begins with the Initial Consultation. We will have a video conference via FaceTime or Zoom so you can give your designer a tour of your space and get to know each other. We offer all services within the Reference and Momentum Packages.

Design Services Additional Information

Initial Consult - $300
This is the first step to almost all design packages. Let’s get together in your space to discuss your project and meet each other. For 1-2 hours we will take measurements, photos, and look over floor plans. This is where we’ll find out if we’re a good fit and which of our services best fit your needs. Remote client consultations will be held over Zoom or Face-Time. Traveling outside of the Idaho Falls area will be an additional $100/driving hour. |

$3000-$5000/room If you’re wanting to facelift your master bedroom or outfit your rec room we can help you create that concept and furniture plan to help you achieve your goals. This service includes:

Project Management or Coordination - $135/hour
The design phase is just the first part of the whole design process. For those seeking the Comprehensive Package, we offer Project Management for quick refreshes (paint and simple finishes) or Project Coordination for full construction (structural and mechanical work). We become an integral member of the implementation team to make your design come to life. Project Management Services Include:

Home Styling
Starting $1500/Room (2 room minimum) You’ve built the perfect house, but something isn’t quite right? Put the cherry on top of that sundae with the right accessories and artwork. Let SBD do the heavy lifting, shopping, buying and staging. You simply say yes or no, we make it happen. This option can be added to the Comprehensive Package or be a stand alone service as long as we contract at least 2 rooms. This service includes:
Extra fees applied for jobs that need installation such as: drapery hardware, heavy artwork, anything requiring a ladder and power tools. |

Designer For A Day
$900 (Must Include Initial Consultation) Add this to the Initial Consultation and get the ideal momentum to check design goals off your list. Go one-on-one shopping with one of our amazing designers or let us go hands-on in your space. You get 5 hours of uninterrupted personal interior design services and detailed notes sent via email. This package could include:
Walk-Thru Consultation
$500 (In lieu of Initial Consultation) This service includes 3 hours of design-as-you-go consulting in your space in lieu of an Initial Consultation. You can ask all of your questions and receive design direction on finishes, floor plan modifications, window treatments, paint colors, furniture arrangement and accessories. This option is great for those on a tighter budget who’d love to have an expert opinion on their space and those with a do-it-yourself attitude. At the end you get any notes or sketches we make during the meeting. |
Hourly Design Consultation
5-10 Hour Prepaid Blocks of Hours $135/hour (Must Include Initial Consultation) Not sure if what you need help with fits within a Designer for a Day or a Walk-thru Consult? No worries. You can purchase blocks of time in 5- 10 hour increments based on your needs. This completely flexible option allows you to work with one of our talented designers at a consult-only basis to ask as many questions as you need, and help you through your designing process. |
