Concept Boards

Every great journey begins with a destination in mind. Concept Boards are a mainstay of all SBD design projects. They include a combination of inspiration images, sketches, finishes, selected lighting, and future furniture and accessories. Your concept boards will allow us to design the feel of the space before knocking down any walls, lifting a paint brush, or spending any construction money.

Sketches & Renderings

We are still waiting on the technology that allows people to see right inside our heads and know exactly what we are envisioning. Until then, we find a quick sketch or 3D mock up is the best way to really give our clients a sense of the space. Don't you just feel you can walk right into those spaces? Then add a splash of color matching our selected finishes, and, pow, there's your design come to life.

Action Plan and Specifications

The devil is in the details and boy do we love details. Here are some examples of what could be included on your project. An Action Plan lists the scope of work for an entire home especially if it's not all construction related. You use an Action Plan like a design check-off sheet to tackle the project one task at a time. A full design plan is not complete without the supporting specification documents that explain in detail the finishes, fixtures, and lighting for each room. Specifications are the documents the contractors and trades-people will use primarily to complete the job as designed.
