Working on the home you grew up in is not as easy as it looks. I still remember churning ice cream by hand its original brown and harvest gold color scheme. Seriously those matching appliances and highly patterned linoleum were groovy! In the past 30 years, its had small additions and pantry relocations and most importantly: a simplified color scheme. But now it deserved a real upgrade with quality cabinets and solid surface countertops. This kitchen is now just as classically cute as the couple who still live there today, my parents.
