2015 Christmas Styling Inspirations

Literary

Book-lovers unite! Put your library to good use with this style. Read up on how to make origami and make your own ornaments or miniature trees from old book pages. Or ditch the tree entirely and make it cone out of your favorite stories. Who doesn't love the smell of pine and books? It's the perfect combination.

Bohemian

I love the look of  the bohemian style. What could be more appropriate for Christmas than a style that embodies peace, love, and homemade memories? Really anything goes with this look as long as its not too stuffy: elements of nature, handmade ornaments, bright colors, and  abundance of global influence. Even the trees embody a unique spirit with the use of branches or driftwood.

Black and White

Are you tired of the same old color scheme or one of those bold (and possibly headache inducing) trendy color schemes. This year I challenge you to par it down and keep it to an achromatic black and white scheme (and possibly off-white and grey and metallics). Incorporate patterns and various sheens to add interest.  This is a category based on colors not necessarily style so you can keep go contemporary or classic. And there are some amazing diy ornament ideas to help you keep in budget.

Artistry

I am constantly amazed at those who truly think outside the box. Not only are these different than the average tree, they are beautifully done. It's all about the composing a piece of artwork. These may not be for the average person but if you are creative you use these inspirations to make your tree something special.
