Design & Operations Coordinator (Admin/Procurement/Design Support) Part-Time with Opportunity to Growth
We are a growing interior design firm specializing in remodels and new construction, and we are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a multi-faceted role. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work and operations, but also has a passion for design and wants to grow their skills within the industry.
About the Role: This position blends administrative support, procurement coordination, and design assistance. You will play a key role in keeping projects organized, on track, and moving forward while also supporting the creative side of the business.
This role will begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow based on performance, skills, and business needs. This is a primarily in-office position with some remote flexibility available.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track orders, materials, and procurement details
Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation
Support designers with sourcing, selections, and project coordination
Assist with client communication and scheduling
Help ensure timelines, details, and deliverables are executed accurately
Provide general administrative support to keep the business running smoothly
Shadow designers and document processes
Applicant Requirements:
Previous administrative or office experience (minimum 2+ years)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and ability to track multiple moving pieces
Comfortable learning new systems and software
Experience in interior design or a strong interest in the field
AutoCAD experience is a strong asset but not required
